Conference and Tutorials
EuroMPI 2015 will be held on the campus of the University of Bordeaux in Talence, near Bordeaux.

Bordeaux is the largest city of the Aquitaine Region in South-West of France. It is known worldwide for its vineyards, chateaux, gastronomy and historical places.
Getting there
Traveling to Bordeaux is very easy. Bordeaux hosts an international airport with connections to major cities in Europe (such as Rome, Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Dublin or Stockholm) as well as Paris and other cities in France. It is also directly connected to Paris by the high-speed TGV train.
Public transportation
Keep in mind, we will supply you with a bus/tram card named Tickarte. Thanks to this card, you may take buses and trams when and where you want during the time of the conference. For all of you using public transportations to reach the conference site, you will only need to buy a single journey card.
Going from the airport to the conference site

By bus and tramway (approx. 55 min)
At stop Aéroport Terminus, take the Flexo 48 direction Pessac Centre. Go down at the stop Pessac Centre (station Tram). At stop Pessac Centre,take the Line B direction Bassins à flot. Go down at the stop Arts & Métiers.
With a taxi
Ask to go to Inria / University of Bordeaux, Science and Technology department. Count on 25 minutes and 35€ for this ride.
Going from the train station to the conference site
By tramway only (approx. 45 min)
At stop Gare Saint-Jean,take the Line C direction Parc des Expositions. Go down at the stop Quinconces. At stop Quinconces,take the Line B direction France Alouette or Pessac Centre. Go down at the stop Béthanie. More info here.

At stop Gare St Jean, take the Lianes 1 direction aéroport. Go down at the stop Victoire (A. Briand). At stop Victoire, take the line B direction France Alouette or Pessac Centre. Go down at the stop Béthanie. More info here.
